my creative space–tees, and more tees

ET-203

This week I have been very busy sewing envelope and crossover tees for Miss M from Growing Up Sew Liberated book.

ET-205

I made 3 envelope tees in both short and long sleeves. I used the next size up from my original ones. They are slightly too big, but she will grow into them in no time.

ET-204

I also made one crossover tee in short sleeve. This one was an experiment as the pattern in the book starts at size 2. I resized the patter to her current size and I think it worked well. I really like this top, its very cute and my pictures don’t do it justice. It is very hard to photograph a very active 1 year old!! I have already cut out another one of these in super cute floral fabric (well, actually my friend cut it out for me while visiting, just because she is so nice). Can’t wait to sew it up!

  15. Oh wow - I picked this book up from the library yesterday after being on the waiting list for it for months! I've had a quick flip through it but must settle down with it properly sometime this weekend. If the waiting list for it is as long as it was when I put it on hold, I can only keep it for three weeks.

I love the way your tees came out, and it looks like Miss M has some good reading material there too :).
