This is my second Lisette Continental dress, made in Lisette cotton sateen fabric. The fabric looks lovely and is very nice to wear. I made this dress with the same alterations as my first one and I added in-seam pockets!
I also hand-stitched the binding again, and it looks so nice that I had to show you the close up (very proud of myself)!!
I’m very glad I joined the sew-along at CurlyPops. It was a fun experience that produced two new dresses in two weeks! If you would like to see some lovely dresses from the sew-along, have a look at this flickr group.
Gorgeous yana! I love that fabric as well. And great you put the pockets in! Yep, def should be showing off that great binding!
ReplyDeleteWhere did Yana go? All I see is a tree and two legs sticking out the bottom?!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Fantastic job on the binding.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the pockets in the side seam - every dress should have pockets in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteYana this turned out beautifully! I can't believe you hand-stitched that binding. It's absolutely perfect! Very well done, it turned out so cute.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I was in Australia in February. I went to Perth with my dad for a few weeks in a business trip. It was amazing as always, seriously I am so in love with that country of yours.
