My peg apron is finished! It was such a quick project, from cutting out to finishing the whole apron, that I want to make another one now!! I was planning on modelling it myself, but Coco (my new dressmaking friend) really wanted to be the model, so I let her. She is also wearing my almost finished check blouse, but that requires a post of its own.
I followed a tutorial by Notchka from The Wardrobe as I couldn’t resist the rounded hemline and the pleats. So cute! I also trimmed the pocket openings with pink ric-rac and I just love the result. Can’t wait to do a load of washing so I can use my new peg apron!!
The top layer fabric is Michael Miller Paula Prass Botanica, Mod Lattice print in Seafoam colour. The bottom layer is Robert Kaufman Kona Solid, but I don’t remember the name of the colour.
For next week I’ve already picked another project: plastic bag storer (once again following a tutorial by Notchka). Handmade Home Tuesday is run by Katia of Plushka. Go and have a look at the lovely hexagon potholder she made, all sewn by hand!
I love the way you made the pocket openings! Does make it look very cute:) The blouse fabric looks good already, cannot way to see it on you!
