My creative space this week is all about knitting.
This fabulous mag (pictured) is full of lovely patterns for kids and I just couldn’t resist starting something for my little Ukralian (hint: have a look at the top right-hand corner). The pattern is simple and once I finish the garment it will be my first knitted piece of clothing ever (so far I completed a back piece).
For more spaces visit Kirsty’s place. My favourite from this week is HERE.
p.s. if you are wondering about the little notebook in the picture (bottom left-hand corner), it is used to record the number of rows completed and the part of the garment that is being worked on. I learnt the trick from someone in the blogland. No more forgetting where I stopped and having to count how many rows I have completed.
Very pretty wool, it's going to be very cute when it's finished. And I like the idea of having a notebook just for knitting to keep track of the rows. I like to crochet and usually just use scrap paper but I like the idea of a nice notebook.:)
