The final product was put together by Kirsty, who organised and conducted the whole project. The quilt is made up of 66 original squares. The red squares represent 6 participants who would have completed their pieces if not for some unforseen / unexpected circumstances.
I am just amazed at the talent and ideas of each individual square. (Go over to "The Quilt Project" website to see each square.)

Seeing the finished quilt has inspired me to make one for myself. I will probably choose my absolute favourite designs and make a smaller version. My own "quilt project" will probably take a while, but one day it will hang on the wall and remind me of the original.
It is an absolute pleasure to be a part of such a grand project!
