maisie & lucy's monster

I made this monster for a little boy called Cohen, who was born in our large extended family a few months back. The pattern is from one of the Softies book and it was super easy to make.

I couldn't send him a toy whithout sending one for his big sister Isla. So I made the Maisie doll from the Softies book as well.

I used one of my favourite fabric collections and it was super easy and fund to make. I didn't have a dark shade of red to match the fabric, but I think the bright cheeks and flowers look nice anyway.

I heard that my gift receipients love their new toys and it makes me smile. :)
